Lee Jeans Unveils One of the Most Advanced "Fit Finder" Tools Available Online to Help Customers Find Fit Solutions

According to a recent Lee.com poll, 71% of consumers find it difficult to find a good-fitting jean, an experience complicated when the shopping takes place online. In fact, 35% say they don't shop online at all because it's too difficult to replicate the online experience of seeing and touching their jeans in the store.

That is why the team at Lee Jeans, who are dedicated to helping every customer find their perfect fit, today unveiled an enhanced online shopping experience at Lee.com.

"With this new site, we really wanted to bring all of the perks of offline shopping to the online experience so we asked consumers what they wanted in a series of surveys, focus groups and ethnography studies," said Liz Cahill, Vice President of Marketing and Communications. "Our customers wanted a site that had a good product selection, multiple product views, and as much information as possible about the product to mimic the offline experience."

The Fit Finder tool is truly unique because it asks the customer a series of questions about their body shape and how they like their clothes to fit, gathering information about their waist, thighs, stomach, and seat to determine the products that will provide their best fit. The tool also offers video demonstrations from Lee's team of fit experts during each step of the process, educating customers on why certain styles fit differently and how to choose the style that flatters their figure. And once they've found their fit, customers can save their fit profile for next season's shopping.

"With the Lee Fit Finder tool, we're giving them all of that and more. It's like having a personal shopper with you, answering your questions and picking out the products that best fit your body type, your personal taste, and your budget," said Cahill.

Other highlights from the new-and-improved Lee.com include:
         - An easy-to-use product filtering system that helps customers narrow products to your best fit based on style, price and your unique body shape.
         - New photography to give customers a closer look at the products they are most interested in - just like in the store!
         - Single-page checkout so customers don't have to go back and forth to process their orders.
         - Ability to compare different products that meet the customer's selection criteria.
         - Consumer reviews about Lee's products and the opportunity to upload their photos in Lee products.

In addition to the new technology, the site also offers a vast assortment of new denim and casual pants for the entire family, including extended sizes for both men and women.

"While many fit finder tools online take into account the customer's preferred rise and leg-opening, the Lee Fit Finder also chooses products based on the customer's seat, thighs, and stomach so the jean looks great from every angle," said Angela Primavera, women's denim trend expert and product manager for Lee. "This is the most intuitive technology available to mimic the experience of being in an actual store, but gives you the comfort of shopping from home."

Another perk of the new site: Lee is offering site visitors a chance to "Pocket Ten Grand" - a sweepstakes that will award one lucky entrant with $10,000 in cash this spring.
