Right Fit, Right Price – New Grp.E Jeans Sell Themselves Once People Try Them on, Say Shop Owners

In 2010, San Francisco fashion designer Tommy Pham set out to produce the ultimate party jeans: designer jeans that are comfortable, tough—and come off in a snap (thanks to Pham's patented snap-button "quicky fly"). Shop owners who just began selling the jeans less than a year ago say that their customers not only like fashion coats online the look, details and construction of Grp.E jeans—they love the fit and the price.

"These jeans are hot!" said Deb Rohzen, owner of Campbell women's clothing boutique Simply Smashing. "I have Grp.E jeans in various styles hanging on a funky, cool round rack by the front door, and you can watch them pull women off the street and into our shop."

Rohzen says her clients love the rock 'n roll vibe of Grp.E jeans, how they are stylish and fun, but not overdone. The only problem has been that, as a new line, they many not recognize the brand. But when she gets shoppers to try on the jeans, they love the look and the fit.

"I've carried a lot of denim lines over the years, and Grp.E jeans really stand out," said Rohzen. "My customers love the selection of washes and the fantastic fits, especially the skinny's and jeggings. And they never look twice at the price tag."

"I personally love the fit of the Grp.E skinny jeans, and the fact they come in a variety of fits for my customers' diverse body types," said Irene Hernandez-Feiks, owner of San Francisco boutique clothier Wonderland SF, where Grp.E jeans are sold. "I also love, love, love the pocket detail—it's not in-your-face like you see on other designer jeans."

Sam Garcia, owner of Underground, a San Jose contemporary clothing and music store in Willow Glen, says American urbanwear, or streetwear, is rapidly evolving from hip-hop-style pants-on-the-ground to a more polished style that emphasizes flattering fits and sophistication.

"When I first looked at Grp.E jeans, I was immediately attracted to the high-quality construction, like the double stitching inside, and the fact that they were designed in San Francisco," said Garcia. "Pham's choice of classic washes and other great-looking finishes combined with great fits and elegant details make them among the best designer jeans available anywhere."

Nicole Escudero, store manager of Los Gatos fashion boutique Kiss'tique, said, "Grp.E jeans are high quality, fit very comfortably and tight, and are not over-styled. People love that the jeans are made by a local Bay Area designer."

About Grp.E Jeans
Grp.E (pronounced like groupie) is the lifestyle clothing brand launched in 2010 by celebrated San Francisco clothing designer Tommy Pham for men and women who love to work hard…and play even harder. In the Grp.E brand, Pham—the clothing designer behind the LL Cool J and G-Unit (by 50 Cent) brands of designer jeans—has created the perfect party wear for the up-all-night rockstar, with great fitting jeans that are comfortable, tough, and come off in a snap.

The "E" in the name makes it clear that Grp.E is for everyone—and everyone has the right to party and have fun while living on this green earth. The Grp.E brand communicates that everyone is at once the same and unique. Each pocket bag is printed with the phrase "Everyone's Pink Inside" and the asterisk logo, the symbol of ambiguity, lets every wearer decide what statement they are making.
